Sold my modded 98 1.8TQMS for an 03 1.8TQ Tip (for the wife, my own toy to follow next year). I will be taking delivery on this Saturday, and had a few questions:

I'm contemplating a clearbra, as I never got it done on the old B5 and regretted it. Can someone post some good pics of a Brilliant Black B6 with the clear bra? I'd like to see how obvious it is.

Any opinions are appreciated.

Ash

Default Here's a couple of pics ...

I think it's really difficult to see the clear bra in pics. In real, you won't notic it unless the car is not clean (at least in BB)

It makes the front of the hood clean and chip free. I did mine in the same place I did my tint and I think any tint shop can do a clear bra.

I used black electrical tape to black out both grills just to see whether or not I like (I can take it off any time I want). You can do that or just go ahead and buy them from vagparts.com

Black grille @ vagparts

Default Thanks guys, doesn't look too bad. How does wax

glaze/paint cleaner etc affect the clear bra? I don't plan on waxing the stuff obviously, but I don't want it to mist/yellow or age prematurely if some wax or something gets on the film.

TIA.

Ash
