fixed!
Took my bike in to the shop and they tightened the crank arm attachment bolt and the squeak is gone...apparently lots of people are having problems with this. The guys at the shop said if I continue to have problems, putting a drop of lock tight should resolve the problem. All I know is my last ride was not squeaky! :-)
