K40 RD850 Radar Detector or V1?

K40's have gotten poor ratings as of late
i just picked up a new whistler 1773 unit which has the new POP technology. In a comparison of the new whistler radar detectors they did pretty well, sure they are no V1 or escort but they are in the upper middle class i would say<ul><li><a href="http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=90119802&loc=111&sp=1">onl ine source for the radar detector</a></li></ul>
