Keyless remote range problem?

Metallic tint definitely cut down my range...
my friend's bimmer tinted on the same day and he noticed the same thing too. definitely try changing the battery too, fresh one always helps range.

Range has been intermittent for me.
Holding the remote higher will help.
Holding the remote differently will help sometimes.
Staying the same distance away from the car, but striding left or right will help.
Sometimes I can be right next to the car and it won't work.
and yet, other days, the remote will easily work 400 feet away from the car.
Welcome to the world of wireless transceivers/receivers. It makes mobile wireless design a bitch. Last time I worked on wireless was the blackberry design!
