Default Let's debate Ultra sport vs. regular sport.......

I am pricing out a new A4 for my wife, and here's what I am thinking:

Regular sport: $900 for 17" rims and suspension
Ultra Sport: $2950 for 18" rims, body kit/spoiler and suspension

Now that the lower cladding comes painted, I don't really care to have the Ultra Sport body package, so I could get the standard sport package and:
-sell the 17" rims for $700
-buy 18" RS4 replicas and tires for $1300
-buy a rear spoiler for around $300

My total cost would be about $1800 after I sell the OEM rims. That seems like a much better route than the Ultra Sport package to me, what do you guys think?

It's obviously a matter of taste- If you don't care about the styling stuff, don't pay for it!

Ask your salesman if he can add the 18" rims and pay the difference vs. 17" ones..

Default Since you don't really care about the body kit...

and there is no difference in suspension components between Sport and Ultra Sport, your contingency plan sounds just right.

Default well, remember that you also get brushed aluminum trim w/ the US

as well as perforated leather on the shift **** and steering wheel...i like the bodykit on the ultrasport better than both the regular a4 w/ painted lowers and even the S4, so that's the route i decided on...i also like the idea of the aluminum interior trim...much better looking than the regular fiberglass imho...don't forget to factor the interior stuff in....
