Default Looking for tires...any suggestions?

So, i drove home my new '04 A4 on sunday..what a great car. I see why you all love these. I am hooked.

But, i did notice that the tires were worn out (evenly..so no alignment issues) ..since the dealer already cut me a great deal on the car..i didnt push too hard for the new tires.

I use this car for work and pleasure...so, I need a tire that is good in all weather..relatively quiet but handles great.

Can anyone reccomend a tire/brand?

..oh yeah I have 18 inch ultra sport rims/wheels.

thanks,
Joe

Default did you buy it from an Audi dealer? Is it CPO? If so, they should replace the tires...

if they are worn. If they "passed" the tires in the CPO inspection, yet they are worn, bring it to their attention and they will replace the tires.

I had this issue when I bought mine last year. Two of the 4 tires were well worn, and should not ahev passed the CPO inspection. They did not even hesitate when I brought it to their attention.

If you end up buying tires, I love my Pirelli PZeroNeros M&S tires. Great tire, not too loud, good handling, good dry/wet traction, non-directional (which is good if you want to rotate your tires side to side). I had a set of Conti Extreme Contacts befoe, nice tires, but 3 of the 4 were out of round so I returned them to Tire Rack and replaced them with the Pirellis. Contis are also directional tires, so you can only rotate front to back, not right to left.

Default I have Yokohamas on mine, they're great. My other car has a set of Toyo

Proxes 4's. They're my favorite....grip real well and are quiet.
