Meguiar's Gold Wax...opinions?????
Many people have commented on how Meguiar's Gold Wax is hard to remove. When & why would you remove it? Are you guys talking about removing excess wax? That I understand...but if you guys are talking about removing it when you're ready to wax the car again...then please explain.
I think this is the only complaint about this wax. Other than that its worth the money. Also, do u guys go through the 3 step process with Meguiar's Paint Cleaner, Polisher and then Wax????

You get the best results when you use the 3 step process...
but also include with that the clay bar treatment which makes the finish glass smooth. In my opinion I think the clay bar will remove the wax b/c although smooth it becomes squeaky rather than slippery.
The only time I had to remove the wax off of my car was when I was changing products, mostly from meguiar's to zaino. Zaino is a synthetic and does not bond well with wax on the car so the wax needs to be removed.
I have been using meguiars for years but I do like zaino because it lasts longer and it also really makes a dark car shine. Give it a try--it is good stuff.
