my parents have an '02 passat 1.8t and never heard of coil pack failures in the passat. isn't it the

go check out vwvortex.com. I'm sure you'll find someone with a 1.8T Passat and a CP failure.
But then again, its still a percentage of people who the CP failure is happening to. I've had my 1.8T for over a year, and still no CP failure.
