Default new A4 - cruise control
Hi All,

I have new A4 1.8T with manual gearbox. I'd like to add cruise control to my car. I already bought and attached this switch for cruise but my car doesn't see it. Does anyone know if it require some activation inside the car computer? Or is it possible at all to add such option if it wasn't originaly equiped.

Default The ECU usually needs to be recoded to activate cruise control in VW/Audis (more)
If you can find out the proper code, you can do it with a VAG-COM, etc.
