New York area dealership feedback needed
Anyone have any experiences, good or bad, with New York area (Manhattan or Long Island preferably) Audi dealerships? Any specific salespeople recommended or not recommended?
Already used the search function, couldn't find any feedback.

Bell Audi in Rahway New Jersey treated me well. I believe the salesman I dealt with was named Robert Ski? He spent lots of time with me both before my purchase and after. He did a great followup a few weeks after owning the car. They even sent me a calendar with a picture of me and my brand new silver baby on it.
I tried dealing with Zumbach in Manhattan but, I did not like their approach and price.

I know it's not NYC, but on (western) Long Island:
Biener (Great Neck) has good service and excellent sales--bought my 2002 1.8t there after a very reasonable negotiation. I dealt with Marshall Rosen and highly recommend him: (516) 829-2834 x107.
Huntington Audi is completely inept in both sales and (especially) service, but they do try to compensate by having a hottie on the sales floor at all times. There's hardly a model in their showroom that doesn't have black bumper trim poorly glued on for a $400+ sticker markup.
Anchor (down by JFK) is more competitive than either of the others above on pricing, but I have heard of some colossal ineptitude in their ranks, like trying to pass off a 2001 TT as a 2002. Dunno 'bout their service.
In northern NJ: Jack Daniels (Hackensack) was so intent on trying to shoehorn me into a very unfavorable lease (on a TT 225)--despite the fact that I had made it well-known that I intended to finance--that i didn't get a very favorable impression.
Good luck.

Try New Country AUDI in Greenwich, CT. only a hop, skip and a jump from the Bronx. I delt with a salesman named Noah Sullivan and I was very pleased with the treatment and the price. Oh yeah, they are the largest AUDI dealer on the east coast. Their service department is top notch too. Their number is 203-661-1800.
