Default Divide by 3 (more or less). See CA DMV web site. . . . .

It isn't EXACTLY divide by 3 but close.

Default Damit. I could have sent in only $232 instead. Great...

Thanks DMV, for letting me know. Now I have to wait for a refund. F*cking bastards.

Didn't Arnold just reduce that fee for you out there? Sorry: Michigan, $135 w/vanity plate.

Default *UPDATE* Now it works out to $232 (according to DMV calculator).

Thanks Gov. Ahnold...

Before:

Registration Fee = $30
VLF = $574.
County/District Fees = $9
Smog Abatement Fee = $6
Total = $619.

Default Yeah. But I wasn't paying attention and the DMV never informed me of this.

I have had the notice for over a month and new that there were changes, but I do not follow that kind of news that much. DMV could have sent notices out at least. Not sure when the changes went into affect though. I am just pissed off because the DMV has $619 of mine and it'll be Jan. '04 before I see a refund of $387. <i>"God damit!"</i> &lt;Cartman&gt;
