I have an 02 a4 and want to install the phatnoise. I've searched and could not find an answer. Am I supposed to have the cd cable in the trunk? In the glovebox? I don't have sat radio. I'm totally confused. Can anyone help? Or link me to some help? I don't want to pay the dealer 200 bucks to install. Thanks.

glovebox cable is considerably cheaper than that $100 pos trunk cable.

if you have skillz you can buy the glove cable and extend it to the trunk..

It depends on where you're installing it. The cheapest and easiest place is in your glovebox.

Otherwise you need the two cables listed on clairparts.com to run it to your trunk. There is no pre-wired cd changer cable in the B6.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/820381.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/820381.phtml</a></li></ul>

the trunk cable has a round connector on the end so it can accept the B5 Trunk CD Changers (not sure if they work in a B6 though). Thus the reason with the trunk cable you need the Jumper cable because the trunk extension cable will not mate directly to the phatnoise system.
