Default Pick your brains please.

I have the 02, sport, quattro, well everything possible. I did not think about the winter driving problem until I started seeing the posts on this forum. My question is this, I need all season tires (Indianapolis does not get that much snow so I think all seasons will be fine), and I also want to get some hotter looking wheels. So I am thinking of putting all seasons on my stock wheels and getting some new 18's for the summer. I think this is the most economical why to get what I want. I only waste the tires that came stock on the car. Does this make sense or can somebody point out a flaw in my logic? And some reccomendations for all season tires would be nice too. Thanks-JIM

Default Buy a set of 16" rims

go to www.clairparts.com and check out the Tango's

99.00 a piece is a steal, I bought 4 myselft for my 02 A4. Putting Dunlop M2's on them for winter use only.

Default There is no flaw in your logic.

I actually like having the stock wheels as my "winter" wheels and then buying aftermarket wheels for the other 3 seasons. It's nice to have the stock wheels around when it comes time to sell the car one day. The same goes for the stock tires.
