Poll: Auto or Manual? And would you buy it again?
In normal day to day drudgery I regret not having the slush-o-matic. But on weekends I like the manual.
Is a chipped automatic nearly as much fun as a chipped manual trans B6?

Manual if you track or if you plan on going with high HP mods in the future(stg3/t28+)
Manual here, will always be a manual where I can. DSG/SMG is another story, but as far as auto/tip vs manual, manual hands down.

I will never own an auto. Even with these faster auto's now like SMG and DSG it's still not the same
I've driven an SMG a few times. A friend of mine has one, It was a blast no doubt, but I still love that clutch pedal.

Auto for the same reasons. A hidden benefit...
I'm not tempted to blow the house fund on the high HP mods that Paul_858 mentions. Sometimes limitations (in this case tranny) can be a good thing...
