Rear Diff Leak
Hey Guys,
I've got a leak from my right gasket on the rear diff. (2003 A4) Just bought a gasket & gear oil from the dealership. Has anybody changed these gaskets before? Where's the fill plug? Any other tips? I heard you should mark the cam bolt and you can probably get away without re-doing allignment after the job...

I've never done the gasket replacement but...
the oil fill plug is on the side of the diff. (passenger side if I remember well), you can't miss it.
When I did my coilovers and wheel bearings, I did mark the cam bolt for re-assembly but I ended up doing a re-allignment as well.
Before taking the whole differential out, I would probably have a look at the radial shaft seal first, I had a leak in my front differential and it ended up being the radial shaft seal.
