Roof bike holder - fork mount vs. front wheel holding?

3 kinds of bike holders from Audi
I called my Audi parts department this afternoon and they said there are 3 styles of bicycle holders. There's the fork mount, a 2 tires model with an arm that grabs the center bar, and a new 2 tires model that locks onto both tires with a strap that grabs the center bar.

Avoided the whole issue - just got a Dahon folding bike...
What a great, fun bike! Folds in 30 sec., two of 'em will fit in the trunk. Fast and totally portable. Best $700 I've spent in a long time.
