I have the Ross-Tech VCDS software, the VAG-COM-USB interface, and the Bentley Repair Manual for my 2002 A4 1.8T.

I may be an idiot, but I can't figure out how to login to program a new module. I have a new Comfort System Central Control Module (J393) and I need to program it once I install it. I have read all the info in the manual and I am clearly doing something wrong.

My question is how do I find the proper code to open the module so I can program all the information?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My understanding is that when you pay them, they provide you the login codes. Otherwise, you have a limited use piece of software that cannot program anything.

I did pay them and I have the Bentley Manual on DVD. I must be missing something.

You will just have to get hold of Ross Tech. I only have the "freeware" version", so haven't been through this.
