shifter sticking to the left. what kind of problem is this?

Have the same problem...seems to get worse while sitting in traffic with increased heat, Pulled cover and lubed a few times, last time in for service they claimed to have "adjusted" the shifter. Seems to work better, but haven't gotten to warm weather and traffic yet either. Gets stuck only to the left be/ 1st and 2nd in the shifter.
