See below. My lease is ending long before the new Passat arrives...
And the transverse engine config isn't very appealing imo. If 4motion is even available at the launch, it will be of the Haldex variety. I'd rather get TorSen while it's still available. Also, the new Passat will most likely be more expensive and the car I'm looking at is as high as I want to go...

Lol! That will hopefully be my wife's next car...
For me, it's just too small. Also, I've read in several mags that the US introduction will be May 2005. Thanks for the heads-up, though!
