Stage I+ APR Needs different By-pass valve?

Not required, but certainly could help longevity...
I've used my stock one to hold 23psi for thousands of miles with no problems before while other people have blown theirs in a couple hundred miles on a chipped program. Up to you on when to do it. cheers! Mike

its the weather mate..
you should hit 21-22psi in dead heat but the ecu will trim out boost during the cooler periods..
unless something has changed.. thats how my old APR chip for b5 worked. religiously.
the mass air in cooler weather is the same at lower PR than it is during the peak of summer.
I would not recommend stock bypass valve or any vag bypass valve. I destroyed 1 in 6500 miles on my 01.5 b5 which is darn near the closest to our AMB motors. Then ruined another one by 11000 miles. due to APR hotness thank god for warranty.
