steering noise
Whining noise when steering and also at around 1,000 RPM. Noise is more pronounced when turning and engine is hot.
No visible leaks, steering wheel acts normal.
Had this issue for sometime. Replaced the feeding hose from fluid container to pump and flushed the system.
Noise gone for about 2-3 weeks, then it started to come back.
Since I can't imagine the new hose already allowing air into the pump (through the clamp on the pump as suggested in other posts), would this noise be caused by the pump itself sucking air somehow? How?
TIA
