Default Suggested Sunshade?

I'm in the market for a new sunshade for my dash - any suggestions for a good one?

I was thinking of just getting the Audi one from Clair parts, but if someone has had good/bad experiences with any other brands I'd like to read it.

No lemons please :P

Default I really like the one from Brookstone. Make sure you get the smaller version

even though the larger one is the recommended size, the smaller one seems to fit perfectly. It also doubles for a snow shade in the winter. It folds down very nicely and comes with a pretty nice bag. Its $20 at Brookstone, and I like it more than the Target one ($15).

Default i've used the Brookstone shade for 4 yrs...

definitely one of the best accessories i've bought for a car. the other is the Absorber.

by the way, if which side (silver/black) is on the outside when used for the snow?

Default haha.. I've wondered that same thing...

I came to the assumption that it really doesn't matter which side is up in the snow. But if I had to rationalize is it, I'd say black because that way it would 1) absorb the sunlight (to melt the snow), 2) silver side down so that would be harder for the windshield to adhere to the ice...

But I'm just guessing.

Wow.. that sucks.. I guess they discontinued it. Try a local Brookstone, maybe they have in stock.

Default Not at a local Brookstone, checked today...

I checked at the one in the mall on the way home. The sales guy never even heard of it before.

I'll pick up the one from Clair or something.
