So today my sunroof was opened but appeared to be "stuck" - after finally getting it completely closed now (seemed that the cover was stuck) the motor appears to still be running constantly even when fully closed. Any ideas on this one? the car is a 2004 audi a4 sport.. manual trans.

I have been having the same problem with the sunroof it seems like it has a mind of its own. Sometimes it will open or close on its own and I have to play with it to get it to close all the way. I haven't had my mechanic look at it yet. Did you ever get your problem resolved?

It might be the sunroof dial. My 2002 had the original replaced, Service advisor said electrical connection would corrode.

I've seen posts on one of the forums I've frequented about this issue. The problem could reside in the dial. The contacts in there may get worn out or dirty which if they are cleaned or the metal tab that makes the contact gets bent in to make better contact it fixes the problem.
