Sweet 19.......
My 19" Lowenhart LD1 Chrome wheels that is.... wrapped with 235/35-19 Nitto NT555's, they are soooooo sweet and delicious. I know they may not be to everyones liking/tastes. But to me; my A4 deserves them and it changed the look of the car dramatically. Nothing else really sets off a car like wheels.
Supposedly these wheels are popular with MBZ owners. But I have never seen them before. To me; just because a certain wheel design is popular with a certain car, does not mean that it cannot work with another. They are made in Japan, so how Euro is that. Anyway, it is a beautiful wheel to me and my A4. Gotta love um...
I do not have my suspension kit installed yet, so I parked the car on an angle to help with the horrible stock suspension gap until I get my kit.

And this was before (cover your eyes);

I researched wheels online for about a month before getting my A4, and believe me; I had wheels on the brain (along w/ every other aftermarket mod possible). But once I saw the LD1, I sort of knew that was the one for me & my A4. Then I found out the price, CLUNK! < jaw dropping to floor>.
It was also hard finding a 19" wheel that I liked (NICHE, NEEPER, HRE, MAYA, ENKEI,...). and some only offered 18", and some were not available in a 5x112 bolt pattern to top it off.
Personally, I prefer wheels that are visually unique, creative, have a very stylish design to them and look different then most. I am not into "ghetto" wheels, as most will probably think these are. I do not agree with that comment, since I am not out to prove anything other then here is a beautiful and interestingly designed wheel. I like the look of chrome wheels, or polished for that matter. They just help accentuate a good design more. I do not think they are ugly or gaudy. Its alchemy (just chrome instead of gold). It adds a bit of visual oooomph.
It is amazing though, what a difference just some aftermarket wheels can make to the appearance of the car, besides a custom paint job and body kit. It was like an entirely different car now. Going from the stock 15" wheels to these was nothing less of a revelation. Now I just have to get that suspension on soon. "Wheel Well gap is a terrible thing to have!" ["Suspension and wheels first, suspension and wheels first!!"].
Forgot to say; A very big thanks to Aun, and the lot, at F1 Motorsports!
