Default Three beeps when starting up car?
Anyone ran into this before?

It only happens sometimes and I havn't been able to duplicate it when I want. I thought it was happening when I was putting the car in reverse but it has happened when simply starting the car.

I get three beeps, not very loud, and it sounds like its coming from the trunk possibly?

i believe it's the backup battery for the alarm

Default you know... there's no conclusive source...
rumor is backup battery, but almost everybody says that Audi Service has no idea about any backup battery.

Go figure.
