Tire Recommendations: Bridgestone S03? Toyo Proxy T1-S? or Yokohama AVS ES100?
Getting new tires and debatting on these...note, that the S03s are the most expensive at $183 a tire, installed/balanced and the cheapest being the AVS ES100 at $138 a tire, installed and balanced.
How's treadlife, performance, etc...

I am going to go with the Kumho MX
Check out the link. The Kumho ranks 8 and it looks like the only reason for that is because it doesnt handle as well in the rain. And its a little bit louder. The kumho is only $121 per tire for 235/45/17. Not bad at all!

Click this link

Here is info on the Toyo......
Treadwear: 280 (approx 20,000 miles depending on driving habits)
Performance: Well all I have to say is that the Speed World Challenge Series used them for 2 years and they had a ball. Great wet weather tire and a very good dry tire. Can be used at the track for driving schools with little loss of performance
Price: cheaper than the S03, about the same as Yokohama, they also have a 45 day/500 guarentee, if you don't like them, take them back for a full refund.
Depending on where you are located, you can check our web-site (www.toyo.com) for a dealer in your area or contact AMS in Carson, CA (www.advancedmotorsport.com) or DTM Autohaus in Alhambra, CA (www.dtmautohaus.com). Any more questions, you can e-mail me direct.

I have SO3's...
Have never had the other two, so cannot comment. Toyos got thumbs-up when I was researching for my own purchase, but SO3 was available at a discounted price, and I thought why not pay a little more and get Bridgestones.
A few other guys have SO3 on this forum. I personally do not race, and under normal (an some spirited) driving, mine show a good wear rate. If the wear rate is linear, I guess I should get about 30,000 km out of them.
The tyre is relatively quiet (18" tyres running at 41 psi) and very comfortable. The grip is fantastic. Out of the three I recommend SO3s, otherwise go with Toyos (just be aware of loud noise).
