I bought my car used so i don't know what kind of chip i have.
i drew this sketch of it..can someone help me out?
also anyone have the revo chip? that is custom set up?

well, it says T.A.P.? Would leave me to believe its from TAP=total audi performance...
which in turn= CRAP...is it a b5? never heard anyone get TAP sw on the b6, which doesnt mean noone has, but i havent heard any mention of TAP in years..

They are now just used as a joke on the boards...
Honestly if I found out my car had that software in it, i'd take the car back and tell them I want my money back or an engine warranty. If you want to be sure and safe, just pick up a vag com and do some datalogging to see how you are running. cheers! Mike

agreed, i'd reassess all terms of your deal and assumptions under which the purchase was made...
i'd study the history of the vehicle and some logs, and all seems fine, id get that chip out asap
