Vag com help.....
i ran the vag-com using the "auto scan" and i get no codes just "end" after it supposely ran through all the modules. does this mean i have no codes? also when i try to select indiviual control modules for example "instruments" it says "no response from controller" what am i doing wrong?
wanted to vag the car b/c the epc light came on after the car didn't want to start, finally car started and would stumble after 4K RPM, got home turned off car restarted and no problems now.

Did you ever figure out the problem? I'm having the same issue with my new KKL cable. Everything looks ok, vag-com shows that the cable is configured on com3, led on odbII connector is lit, and key switched to on.
But no joy. I get the no response from controller when selecting the engine module, which I should be able to do with the shareware version of the software, according to Ross-tech.
