Default This is what I ended up with tonight. paint wasn't totally dry and it was only 3 coats of primer and

one coat of black. It will be even colored when I'm done. Still have a little more work to do on it

Default what kind of sandpaper did u use? how many layers did u put?

and how long does the avg layer take to dry?

Default first layer was thick, we gave it an hour. sanded it down with the 50 on a dual action sander,

then hand sanded with some 120. filled holes with more bondo and let it set for 30 minutes. then sanded with 120 and finished off with 320. Then filled some more, and sanded with 320 again, did that a few times.

I should have done what you did. I had a stereo shop do this for way to much. It took them forever.
