What is the market like for OEM sport pack wheels?
How much are they selling for? I've seen the eBay & AudiWorld listings, but I'd like to know what they're actually selling for. If someone wanted to sell his or her wheels to me, he or she should probably email me on frostytim@ea rthlink.net. Not that I'd waste any forum bandwidth on this blatant WTB.

Yeah that is really expensive look around and you'll find a great deal. Thats what I am waiting for.
Dustin A4, and Avant XP would try to hit you with sales tax if you buy from them. Just look around and you will find a great deal.

And you will continue to wait.
When the rims first came out they were selling for $1800 for 5. I agree that is high. But I highly doubt that you will find a set of 5 wheels/new tires for $900 bucks. I have watched them exchange hands many times on this site and the 900 dollar deals are usually 4 wheels and tires with quite a few miles on them. And when people say 5K it is usually 10K.
Most people that want them are willing to pay $250-300 each - it's not that expensive. The tires alone cost $175 each. So $100 bucks for the rim is dirt cheap.
Most people that can afford an A4 don't care about an extra couple hundred of bucks. Time is money - so the effort spent in trying to save a few hundred bucks is just not worth it. You have let a few set go by and you still don't have them.
My guess is that you really don't want them all that bad and you just want a good deal. I don't blame you for wanting a cheap set. And if I had not sold mine for $1500 I would have sold them to the next lowest bidder at $1350, or to the many others I had in the $1200 range.
