What is the trick to setting the Service Interval warning
My A4 1.8T5MQ just spent two hours with the Service department this morning, trying to set the service reminder. The car is 3 weeks old, just hit 1000 km, and the wrench button (service due in -- km -- days) still reads blank (actually reads --)
The owner's manual says to hold down the wrench button when starting the car, and SERVICE is supposed to appear, and hitting the reset 0.0 button is supposed to set the interval to the appropriate value.
Audi gave up and told me to come back in another few hundred km. There was nothing they could do on the VAG interface either.
Any hints?
