Default it's obvious in person

the brilliant black is a pure gloss black. the ebony pearl effect is a metallic mix with the black.

Default Brilliant black in non-metallic and is a very rich colour. Ebony...

is a metallic black. In shade is almost identical to brilliant black (from a little distance). However, under sunlight it looks clearly different with highlights of charcoal. Both ebony ande brilliant black have clear coats on top (as for any aother paints).

Default Ebony Pearl here ...

but my sig photo isn't a tight-enough shot to show the detail of the color. It is basically dark charcoal with tiny flecks of blue, gold, silver and red (imperceptible except on close inspection).

I happen to like it, but it isn't as bold as Brilliant Black. Oh, and the unpainted lowers are barely noticeable with Ebony.

Default They aren't the same at all in person.

BB is black, while Ebony Pearl is charcoal grayish. Both are beautiful colors, but if you want black, BB is the way to go.

Its not really metallic since it has some pearlish twinkle to it.

Still looks better in person, but better than nothing

(Oh, ignore the part under the lightbulb, that just mud )
