Wicked... 2.7TT in B5 Passat Variant...

Before I thought about a supercharger for my V6 2.8L if I got the bucks to spend. Now maybe I should save up more reconsider my options. Now this is really "a wolf in a sheep". Ain't no _55AMG or M_ or _____R or ____S would expect something from a mid-size family car.

http://clubb5.zeroforum.com/zerothread?id=37557</a

Been there, done that. Oettinger Passat 2.7 Syncro. 300PS

Oettinger first took the V6 BiTurbo engine out of an S4 and transplanted the V8 from an Audi A8 into the car. To do so they had to extend the front of the car by approx 6cms.
Now left with a brand new S4 engine they procured a Passt V6 Syncro and carried out a further engine swap. The engine was then upgraded and had approx. 300HP. Unfortunately because of legislation in Germany it would have been very expensive and complicated to get the car homologated properly and so they then dropped the original engine back in before selling the car.
The V8 S4 still exists though.
