Wierd recoding issue

So I helped a friend of mine recode his B6 A4 1.8T. We turned off auto-lock, turned on one-click unlock, and turned on the remote closing.

But then he said that the door open indicator was reversed! When the passenger door is open, it indicated the driver's door was open. The dealer reset the coding to default and that fixed the indicator.

Weird. Are there updated codings for the B6? Has anyone else had this happen?
