Default woo hoo! My MTM exhaust is on the FedEx truck for delivery.

I'm so happy. Scheduled to be installed later today if it gets here in time. Or Saturday morning.

Default Damn, all these exhaust posts and I have nothing yet.

Waiting for Miltek to correct the issues with the 3.0 exhaust (again)...

Congrats, btw! :&gt

Default It hasn't been the best experience for me though....

GHL, APR, Avalon,....

So do you have the Milltek exhaust already? Were there problems?

Default Lol. I forgot you were on the neverending search for the perfect exhaust...

:&gt

Yeah, I purchased the prototype from Strat and I've been letting Speed Sport Technik do the fitment. Currently, it's been sent back to Miltek twice. Right now it fits, but the tips are about 4 inches too short. The problem is that it's about a month turn-around time each time they have to make a change. Hopefully sometime in January it will be done.

I'm also having the car dyno'd after it's installed. I had a baseline done when we started so it should be interesting to see the gains (if any)....

Default More like the "never ending nightmare"...

Damn! For that, Milltek should have just sent a designer/tech over here to fix it. I had heard about issues like this with Milltek (A4, S4,..), so I avoided them (glad I did). 4"'s short on tips is bad. It's really strange to me, that so many exhaust systems have issues. I think it is quality control and not enough R&D.

Sorry to hear of your problems. Hope it works out soon.

I'll dyno once I either get a chip/injector upgrade (along with exhaust, downpipe and Sport CAT), or with turbo kit. I know I have 170HP now.

Default MTM exhaust is all about....

quality, build and performance IMO. Fitment is suppose to be like OEM. It's a 70mm pipe, custom center resonator, OEM muffler shell with MTM internals and beautiful MTM custom rolled tips. It may not be the typical polished system, but it is well built.
It's more expensive then what you are looking at. Go to Hoppen Motorsports for MTM info (they are the US Importer/Dealer). I bought mine from Anderson Motorsports.

Default Re: MTM exhaust is all about....

would u say that this is a better exhaust than the 2 performance wise? also what does it sound like. thanks for all the info. the price really isnt an issue for me so if its the best its for me. i will be running a stage 3 apr or a t-28 kit down the road. does this system work well with that? thanks
