Would yellow clear-bra "french" headlamps look lame (pshop anyone)?

just curious. When i was in belgium/paris i saw it on various cars. It looked cool but most were old bmw's.

Anyone done this to a b6?

I've always hated the look and I really dont think it would look good on our cars.
