Default Would you like Audi to be RWD??

I think RWD should be more fun in good weather. Audi claims that fwd is easier to handdle in case of losing traction, but i think all these electronic system today like ESP should be able to handle that dont you think?? IMO not much people like fwd coz they are not fun to drive hard, and if A4 comes in rwd we will probably see more audis on the road.

Default it would be nice if audi...

had an AWD distro system like what is available on Lancer Evos and Nissan Skylines that allows the user to manually set power distribution bias to the rear wheels...

Default I don't want to "see more Audis on the road"________;o)

Where I work, at a medium-sized company, there are five BMWs in the parking lot ... and one Audi (mine). Everyone is always raving about my car, while the bimmers go unnoticed. I like the exclusivity of my Audi!

To the contrary, I think if they were RWD, we would see more Audis going off the road!

Default Audi actually does make some RWD cars

This information all comes via one of the regular posters over at Edmunds. Audi make a few RWD cars for a special purpose. In Germany, it is illegal to compare different manufacturer's products in advertisements. Thus, Audi cannot claim that quattro "handles 50% better than BMW RWD" or such. Companies are allowed to compare to their own products, though, so Audi makes a few RWD versions of their cars to use for comparison purposes. None of them are marketed, of course, but participants in the Audi driving school in Ingolstadt are evidently allowed to drive them - just to be shown that quattro handles better in all situations than a RWD car.

Good one! Abt TT-R is RWD for DTM, I think.

I read a post about the RWD Audis. They are Quattro's with the front drive shafts removed.
