2005.5 Key Problem
Every so often the buttons on my key will not work to lock/unlock the doors or open the trunk. I have to stick the key in the door keyhole to get in the car. Once i start the car with the key it seems to reset it and it works for a little while but then it stops again. The little red light on the keyfob does light up when i hit the buttons but for some reason the car is not recognizing the signal.
Any ideas?

Common problem -- TSB has been issued
It's a programming defect. Notify your dealer by phone, and ask them to order for you a new set of keys. (Should take about 2-3 weeks to arrive.)
After they've arrived at the dealer, schedule an appointment to have the keys reprogrammed. Bring all of your keys with you (including the valet and emergency key) to have the job done, should take about an hour or so.
