A4 Fuel Flap actuator
Hi all,
Im completely new to Audi's, Ive got a 2006 A4 S-Line SE 2.0T quattro saloon.
The fuel flap lock is playing up, its not working everytime. So I want to replace it. I can order the part from Aliexpress which is some site in china. Its about $13.00.
Should I get this part? It looks exactly the same apart from missing Audi logo. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free...363413955.html
Or should I go to Audi and get a genuine part?
How do I actually remove the broken one? It feels stuck on to the metal. There are 2 metal poles sticking out of it, are they part of the car like a guide for fitting?
Thanks for any help.

I don't know either, but those two stakes look like the end of pop rivets. Have you tried cleaner/lube on the actuator rod (it looks dirty)? I would try spraying WD-40 on the actuator rod and working it into the solenoid a bit first Maybe the mechanism is sticking a bit...

Thanks for the replies.
I did order it from china, and it arrived a couple of days ago. Pretty quick I thought. The part they sent even has the Audi logo on. So its either a genuine part, or a genuine china fake.
I have now fitted it, and it works perfectly. All I had to do was turn the little posts slightly and it then slides towards the fuel flap and you can pull it off. Its actually just 2 screws with squared off bottoms. Fitting was simply turn the screws the opposite direction.
I did try WD-40 but it just kept sticking.
