Re: sorry but thats a rip off...
Thats what I thought...
This started at 2k down and $445 a month, now its 800 down (DMV fees and so on) $445 a month.
I guess I will hold out longer.
Thanks
Ashe

Re: A4 Lease Question
Actually, that's a decent deal, especially as the number includes sales tax and 12000 miles a year. The drive off is reasonable as well. You can plug the numbers into the lease calculator at leaseguide. The money factor seems very low (last month it was .00080). I wonder if that's the new one for april.

Re: A4 Lease Question
Looking closer, at that MSRP, sale price, money factor and residual, your monthly payment including tax should be around 435 depending on your sales tax rate.

Re: sorry but thats a rip off...
yea wait till the end of the month if possible. I got a basic A4 for like 1,500 down, 15K a year and 298 a month. I went in on the last day of the month (it was a leap year month )

Re: sorry but thats a rip off...
You guys are crazy... That is a great deal I'm an Audi sales person and i pay 312 a month for 2 years with 2,000 down on a 36,000 car.
That is at invoice with the dealer buy rate on the money factor.
Always work of the sales price and do your home work on the money factor and you'll be all set.
They can't hide money on the contract!!!!!!!
Let me know if you have any questions

Re: A4 Lease Question
Plugging the numbers into http://www.leaseguide.com/calc.htm
Net Cap Cost: 35,270
Gross Cap Cost: 34,352
Residual 56% (57% for 10K miles, 54% for 15K)
money factor: .00043 (this is the new AFS rate)
+ 6% sales tax
= $450.67
The drive off of $757.57 is very low (double check that it's the *total* drive off including the first month's payment). If that is the actual drive-off, then you've got a great deal - even if that doesn't include the first month's payment then you've got a fair deal. If you want to save more money, you'll have to haggle the sale price (gross cap cost), because you're already getting the lowest money factor. The sale price varies greatly (sometimes down to invoice or even below for less popular cars) depending on many factors (dealer's mood, location, etc etc). The residual cannot change (unless you change the mileage allowance). Good luck!!!
