Baseline dyno of my stock 2.0T: the motor is very underrated by Audi
I'm about to install a GIAC chip, a test pipe, and a Milltek exhaust. I wanted to have a baseline dyno, so I can know what the gains are later.
The first graph is actual wheel horsepower:

The second graph is crank estimate by Dyno Dynamics. It's based on current conditions (temp, humidity, etc), drivetrain type (AWD) and engine type (4-cyl), and it's guaranteed by Dyno Dynamics to be within 1% of the actual value.

So, 223.4 hp... Not bad for an engine rated 200hp by the manufacturer!
I'm told most 2.0T engines score over 208hp, often over 212hp or so.

A 31% driveline loss is huge, I would say that your crank is more like 195 - 200 using 20%.
For example, my 240 hp M just dynoed at 208. That would be 301 at 31% driveline loss, not likely. How do they come to calculate this crank number??

RWD typically loses 10-15%, AWD loses 20-30%
Dyno Dynamics is probably the most accurate dyno out there. My stage 3- 2.7T got 325WHP on a cheaper dyno, and then 289WHP on Dyno Dynamics. It's less, but it's real.
Again, crank estimates are guaranteed. The percentages that the system uses to calculate crank estimates are different for each car. It takes the engine type and drivetrain type into account.
