I have a new verizon phone (The EnV) and for some reason it won't syn up with my new A4. Has anyone else had this problem? The phone is on the approved list. But whenever I try to use it the car says it does not recognize any device. Is there any trick that I need to do to fix this problem. Thanks for your help

I have also experienced a similar problem, trying to pair a new Motorola V3xx {Cingular) with a 2007 A4 2.0T. The phone does not recognize a Bluetooth connection in the car. The phone has Bluetooth version 2.0, which should be backward compatible to any version 1.x, according to published Bluetooth standards.

does it support the SIM access profile? Are the BT features unlocked?
VZN is non-GSM and im not sure that SIM-access can be supported on a non-GSM phone (as it doesn't actually have a proper SIM card)
Aside from that, VZN is a bunch of douchebags and they intentionally cripple most interesting or useful features on their phones, especially those related to bluetooth.

I have the Verizon V phone. When I pair it with the car, it sees the car as a hands free headset. I can answer calls and voice dial. But that is all. The phone book will not transfer. My guess is that Vz crippled that feature.
