IMHO, Your car is missing some $99 Blose speaker junk. You have zero chance of getting a new car <LOL>. They will slap in the strap-on speaker/amps and put on shiny Blose logos and send you on your way.

Not true. I've seen it happen before over very minor stuff.
A friend of mine has bought VWs and Audis that have been bought back over minor discrepancies on the Monroney.

It doesn't matter how trivial it seems.
If it's listed wrong on the Monroney it's a violation of the Automobile Information Disclosure Act.

This happened to me shortly after picking up my A4/2006 in August. I got a phone call from AoA telling me about the mistake and they offered me the $600 difference for the system. I guess I was too naive to push the matter further, and I accepted the money. They sent me a new window sticker that shows "no Bose".
I am disappointed--but the check covered the first month's payment!!

They have done it all except a new harness....the issue is in the line that runs...
from the body to the door. When the speaker is out, all I have to do is wiggle the wires and it works fine....but it is a pain in the *** to do that everytime.....

My A4 is similar with NAV XM and BOSE. But now I'm wondering if I really have BOSE. I have not heard the stock system. How can someone tell? If Audi is charging consumers $1000 for BOSE but there is none on the car that's against the law. Easy law suit. Anyone else with a similar car?
