Hello as i am new i did not want to ask this in another persons post and hijack the tread, also i did some looking but did not see this answered.

As i live in costa rica and the dealer here is not willing to help an Audi owner in any way if he did not buy his car there, i am at a loss for dealer help. (that includes, service, parts, etc)

I bought most of the things mentioned on this site for my recently purchased 06 A4 Q 6sp. what i did not buy on my trip to the US was the cam follower, got the PCV, Diverter, K&N, coil packs, and extra key which now seems worthless as they will not program it. car has 24K miles also.

I am in Panama for a few days and they have nicer dealers here, so i wanted to know the part number from Audi or Volkswagen if the item is the same for the best one to use to replace.

I saw there were revisions for the PCV and Diverter so not sure here. Also do i need my vin to get this or just say 2006 A4 2.0?

thanks for helping a newbie out, as it has been since late 80's for me with an Audi quattro coupe.

Also wanting to do stage I ECU and trying to decide how is best, i see APTuning has a sale with a fully loaded ECU for $600 and also similar deal from GIAC, i think the easier to use is the APT but not sure what the hand held unit from GIAC can do, also do either of these companies so ECU swaps, or i just sent mine and wait?

just ordered it and a new cabin filter, which i had of ordered it a week earlier with the other things i got as i had a friend bring me that stuff to CR two days ago this will take 2 weeks via miami to get to me...thanks
