Can I take my ECU out and send it away to get flashed or does it have to be in the car?

Cost and any comparison on specs to GIAC and or APR? Thanks. I have always has GIAC in all of my other Audis but no dealer is close. Where are you located?

You would have to break the ECU's chastity belt to remove it. I wouldn't recommend that.
There's really no hiding that once you do it and you can kiss your powertrain warranty goodbye.
If I really wanted to run aftermarket software, I'd drive a LONG way for a flash before I'd remove the ECU.

$499 for the flash
I think I am far, as I have no clue what track you are at. I am in Seattle.
Revo is just one of the big three. Gains are about the same. Just search for opinions. Hard for me to say much as I sell it.
