Dice I-Audi-R install problems in 2007 A4
I recently received a Dice Electronics I-Audi_R for my 2007 Audi A4 as a gift from my wife via Enfig. When I got the radio out of the dash, I couldn't figure out any way to attach the supplied cable to my radio - the interfaces look completely different. Doing some research online and reading the various install guides and message board postings, I can see how the supplied cable would work with earlier Audi radios, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to attach it to this. Am I just being dumb or do I somehow have the wrong cable?
Mine is the new radio with internal 6-CD changer. (I think it's Symphony II+ radio from reading the forums here) The OEM radio harness is a large 1 inch by 1 inch square. The supplied DICE cable has a smaller rectangular head and the pin sizes and locations are totally different.
Any help anyone can provide is much appreciated! Thanks.

RESOLVED - Re: Dice I-Audi-R install problems in 2007 A4
Just to follow up on this - I called Enfig and Christian there told me the correct cable should have been included in the original package - they are supposed to include both types of connectors for just this type of situation. He's overnighting it to me.
For anyone else that runs into this issue - the correct part is the VW-R2 harness.
And I highly recommend Enfig - every interaction I've had with them has been great.

I bought the same Dice unit from Enfig and i'm about to embark on the exact same install. Where did you end up putting the Dice box?

Re: Dice I-Audi-R install problems in 2007 A4
I just installed mine in my '07 A4 with base stereo/bluetooth, and while the install went fine, I can't get any of the steering wheel or head-unit controls to work (change playlist, artist, etc.). The only thing that works is direct control from the iPod itself. I have a 4G iPod.
Anyone else having that problem?

I have the upgraded stereo with satellite. I basically just unplugged the Sat (since i dont use it at all) and replaced it with the Dice plug. I originally thought my steering wheel controls didnt work either. But this was because i was testing the radio/ipod interface without actually turning the car on. Once i started the car, all of the controls worked perfectly. I'm very happy with this product. Its working completely as advertised.
