In the US cars (B7), DRL's are only available as part of the Convenience Package [PPX]
"Bi-Xenon headlights; Automatic operation rear view mirror; Compass; Memorized adjustment with four settings on door mirror position with six driver's seat positions; Driver and passenger door mirrors with automatic operation; Electric foldable mirrors; Headlight control active; Garage door opener; Coming home device; Computer"
Short answer: if you see an interior shot of the car, and it has the DRL **** next to the headlight switch, the car has the Convenience Package. Likewise, if you see a picture of the front of the car, and see Bi-Xenon's, the car has the Convenience Package.
At least for US cars.
