Default DVD nav: Facts vs fiction on 1GB SD Cards and MP3 CDs/DVDs

I read a lot of contradicting posts about that. I would like to finally know what's true and what's not.

1) Are 1GB SD Cards working or not? I read somewhere that they must be formatted in FAT16 in order to work. What's true?

2) Can the DVD reader play a burned *CD* loaded with MP3s?

3) Can the DVD reader play a burned *DVD* loaded with MP3s?

4) Can the CD changer read MP3 CDs? I guess no but I'm asking just in case.

I guess I'm not the only one looking for these answers. Thanks!

Default Answer to question (4)

#4) I burned a couple of iTunes CD's and they worked fine.

BTW, I tried to play "The Incredibles" DVD in the Nav DVD and the player did not recognize the format.

Is question one specifically about 1G cards?

I was thinking about getting a couple 1G SD cards specifically for this purpose. I was able to play MP3's off of a 256mb card which I used my iPaq to transfer the data.

Default Thanks - Yes, I'm asking specifically for 1GB+ cards

I heard that the manual states that it only supports up to 512MB. But some people seemed to say that 1GB works fine by formatting them in FAT16. Would like an official confirmation..!

Default 1 GB card works fine for me (without formatting)

I've heard that people successfully tested 2GB cards as well...

But I use my 1GB card in my (US spec)system everyday without problem.
