I notice the engine rumbles/shudders when I come to a stop. This can be with or without the AC unit on. It's as if the car was running out of gas and wants to turn off.

It's more pronounced the faster I come to a stop, but it happens even if I'm just rolling. It lasts just a second or 2 and then seems fine.

I've never had a 4 cyl car or turbo before, so maybe this is normal?

Im just curious as to if you are worried about the idle vibration we 2.0T/tip drivers experience all the time?

has it ever stalled after that shutter?

The reason I asked if you were serious is because I am having the paint issue, so who knows what else is wrong.

I know the idle vibration you mean. This is different. It's only when coming to a stop. It's never stalled, just the same sort of symptom. I'll have to notice the idle and see if it drops.

I forgot to mention it yesterday when I brought it in for the paint stains. (Auto Detailing forum)

I emailed my sales person to let him know when I come on Monday for the paint, I want to see a mechanic too.

I want to make sure it's not dismissed as normal. If they say it's fine, then I will ask to drive the same model/yr Audi to see if it does the same thing.
