Well it's going to slip.... when folks do a clutch drop at hi RPM when the car is stopped
it slips a whole bunch creating a bunch of heat before it gets moving.
If you notice you RPM's rise and the car doesn't go anywhere ..... it's slipping.
Some at the track burn or glaze their clutch meaning they have slipped it so bad the frictioned surface is now smooth and it won't hook up.
#1 thing not to do if you want to keep your clutch for a while - don't do burn outs and no drag racing.... and if someone else wants to drive your car but they drive an automatic that should be a sign

I thought I knew how to drive a stick, but it took me over 20 years to really figure out rev matching.
